AEO is the practice of structuring your website so AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini cite your business directly when someone asks them for a recommendation. Where SEO aims to rank a page in a list of links, AEO aims to make your site the source the AI quotes in its answer.

SEO and ads compete for clicks on a results page. AI answers don't show ten links; they hand back a few names. AEO makes sure your own website is one of the sources behind those names, rather than a directory like Angi or HomeAdvisor.

The goal is to be the company AI recommends at the moment a homeowner is deciding who to trust. Roofing is high-ticket, so even one AI-referred job a month can cover the retainer several times over. We measure citation rate so you can see the trend, but no one can guarantee a specific number of jobs.
